A Service Extension plan extends the standard Sony limited warranty for a selected term. All Service Extension plans cover all parts and labor costs for repair of your Sony product. Service Extension plans provide added peace of mind against repairs. Coverage from service extensions begins when Sony limited warranty expires.

  • Replacement Plans
    1-2 year plans available.
    Replacement plans provide a full product replacement should a Sony product malfunction. The plan will provide an exact replacement if your Sony product should fail to operate properly. In the event an exact product can not be located, the plan will provide a replacement that is of equal or comparable value. There are no out of pocket costs or deductibles for your replacement product. Coverage begins on date of replacement plan purchase.

    Replacement plans include:
  • Guaranteed Product Replacement Coverage
  • Coverage on all Sony product less than $250
  • Full replacement of product
  • Lightning/surge protection
  • 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year access to service representatives via    our toll-free number


  • Onsite Service
    1-4 year plans available.
    Onsite service plans provide convenient service repair in your home or at your office to make sure your product is performing properly. Onsite service is scheduled with you by an Authorized Sony Service Provider. There are no out of pocket costs for onsite repairs for covered repairs. In the event a repair cannot be performed onsite, the service plan will pay for all shipping costs to make sure your Sony product is repaired and delivered back to you. Coverage begins on date of service plan purchase.

    Onsite service plans include:
